Azie Tesfai
Writer & Actress, Jane the Virgin & Supergirl
Azie Tesfai (she/her, @azietesfai) is an actress, writer, and social entrepreneur. Tesfai co-starred in CW’s Supergirl as ex-military psychologist Kelly Olsen and DC comics superhero The Guardian. She previously played homicide detective Nadine Hansan in Golden Globe-nominated series “Jane The Virgin,” as former partner to Michael Cordero (Brett Dier).Tesfai booked a role in “Wicked Wicked Games” shortly after graduating, and has since landed roles on numerous hit TV shows including “Silicon Valley,” “Superstore,” “Royal Pains,” “Rosewood” and “The Real O’Neals.” She has also recurred on “Powers,” “NCIS” and “The Kominsky Method.” Tesfai also founded Fortuned Culture, an accessories line that was launched with TOMS Shoes Marketplace and sold in Bloomingdales. 100% of proceeds from each piece benefit charities in Ethiopia, Mexico and Cambodia.

Javicia Leslie
Actress, Batwoman
Recently named by The Hollywood Reporter as their “Next Big Thing” and by Los Angeles Magazine as their “One to Watch”, exceptionally driven and stunning actress/director/philanthropist Javicia Leslie (she/her, @javicia) is CW’s new “Batwoman” becoming the first bisexual, black actress to play Batwoman. DC’s “Batwoman” premiered fall 2019 as the first superhero series in television history to feature an avowed LGBTQ person as the central character.
Javicia was also recently featured in Women’s Health and Emmy Magazine for her breakout series regular role on CBS’ #1 drama, “God Friended Me” as the quick witted and level headed lesbian daughter of ‘Reverend Finer’ (Scandal’s Emmy-nominated Joe Morton). Additionally, Javicia has also begun stretching her muscles behind the camera as well, directing two short films this year, Award winning “Black Excellence” and “Howl.” And next to direct an episode of her series “Batwoman”.

Activist, Author, & Founder, 1000 Black Girl Books
Marley Dias (she/her, @iammarleydias) is a purpose-driven 17-year-old founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks and author of Marley Dias Gets It Done: And So Can You! The 2021 Ambassador of National Educational Association (NEA) Read Across America. Host and Executive Producer of Netflix’s Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices.Marley launched the #1000BlackGirlBooks drive in November of 2015, leveraging the power of social media to reach a larger audience. The story went viral and was picked up by media outlets around the world as well as bloggers, schools, youth-focused organizations and millions of individuals who wanted to participate in the project.Marley has spoken at the White House’s United State of Women alongside Michelle Obama and Oprah, The Forbes Women’s Summit, United Nation’s Girl Up, Inbound, CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion, the Social Innovation Summit and several others. Marley was recognized by TIME, as one of the 25 most influential teens in 2018. Marley is the youngest member of the Forbes 30 under 30 list to date and was included in the list for 2018. She has been awarded the Smithsonian Ingenuity Award, Ebony 100, and more.
